Our mating program is from the end of April to the start of September; we calve down from January to the start of May. We use predominately our own bulls, and use the influence of outcross sire brought in from select studs every year or so. AI is kept to a minimum, but we use it as a means to maybe introduce an outcross bloodline, to satisfy the need of our clients. The 2008 season we have 8 sires depastured with our females.
